yet another update....

Well--Russ is still working, which is good. However, he is there and I am still here is Seattle. (with the kids & in-laws) Our papers are all in for our home loan and it's at the underwriter. You think oh! how quick it'll be now...not so fast! The underwriter is an absolute idiot!! She has no idea what she's doing! Which is just type up our crap so we can buy the mother f-ing house already!! She has requested our student loan info 3 times!! The SAME info three times! If that's not an idiot I don't know what is! *deep breath* ok-venting..... I called the lender yesterday and spoke to her poor assistant and I was so angry I kinda vented at her. I told her I was not yelling at her, just angry that the underwriter can't figure is out! well--as it turns out it's probably good that I did that b/c last night I got a call from my lender and she said that it was going to be taken care of one way or another! Apparently-she called and chewed out the underwriter today and told her to just do it already! well-it's supposed to be started on tomorrow. (it better!!!) I am slowly losing my mind!
Russ worked Monday, Tuesday, and today and he's supposed to work tomorrow and then he has a 3 day weekend! We miss him here! It's not so fun being the single mom living with your in-laws. (not that their that bad) But-it's just hard living with someone else for so long. I know that their getting tired of all of our crap everywhere. I need to get back to my original train of thought....ok-the lender said she's trying really hard to get us in our house this weekend. I really hope so! It would be nice to have Russ helping with the unpacking. Cross your fingers and pray hard that we can move soon!!!!

Wow...is it too late to change banks? Crossing my fingers that you get everything approved and you can close on Friday!

Good Luck! House stuff never has gone smoothly for us, either, but that is ridiculous! I would hate the "single Mom" role too. I hope it happens fast!!!

Homebuying is never an easy experience. I think that what makes being a "homeowner" such a major accomplishment. Keep in mind you got an awesome loan that is locked in. If you tried to buy a house now there isn't a bank out there that can afford to lend consumers the money to buy it! You were locked in at the BEST possible time. (Just a thought from your financially outspoken sister-in-law hahahaha)
